Mysterious Metal Sphere Found in Colombia Sparks UFO Debate

A strange metal sphere has people talking around the world. The object was first seen flying through the sky over Buga, Colombia, on March 2. Later, it was found on the ground, and scientists are now studying it to understand what it is. Some people think it could be a UFO. Others believe it might just be an unusual art project.

Jose Luis Velazquez, one of the scientists studying the sphere, says it’s like nothing he’s seen before. He pointed out that the metal ball doesn’t have any welds or joints. Most man-made objects have visible seams. This one doesn’t. That alone has raised many eyebrows.

The sphere also has strange symbols carved into it. Velazquez and his team used an X-ray to look inside. They found three layers of metal and nine small microspheres inside. This kind of structure isn’t something you see every day. Velazquez called it a very rare piece.

While some are excited about the possibility of alien technology, not everyone agrees.

Julia Mossbridge, a physicist and founder of The Institute for Love and Time, has her doubts. She thinks the object could be a creative art project. She told Fox News that before calling something a UFO or alien object, it should be studied by trusted groups like the Galileo Project. This is a science-based group started by Harvard’s Avi Loeb to explore unknown objects in space and on Earth.

Mossbridge also said the sphere might reflect something deeper about people today. She believes many of us feel like we’re losing control and that this feeling shows up in how we react to strange things. Whether it’s a real UFO or not, the mystery taps into something emotional and big.

Even though she’s skeptical of the sphere, Mossbridge doesn’t think all UFO claims are fake. She reminded everyone that governments have admitted they’ve seen things in the sky they don’t understand. That’s why groups like the Galileo Project and the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies are so important. These are independent organizations looking to collect real data and study these objects with an open mind.

She also mentioned that since this sphere was found in Colombia, it brings up questions about how different countries should handle such discoveries. Who decides what happens to it? Who gets to study it?

In a final message, Mossbridge said fear is a natural reaction to the unknown. But instead of being afraid, we should be curious. She believes we stay safe by exploring the truth and reacting with care. The key, she said, is to look beyond ourselves and realize we’re part of something much bigger.
