Davis, CA, Harper Junior High Student Bryant Fulton, 15, Missing Since Noon Tuesday, Police Seek Public Help
A 15-year-old boy went missing from a Davis junior high school on Tuesday afternoon, prompting police to issue a community-wide alert asking residents to help track him down.
Bryant Fulton was last seen around noon on June 9, 2026, at Frances Ellen Watkins Harper Junior High School, located at 4000 E. Covell Boulevard near Mace Boulevard in Davis, California.
He left the campus on a blue bicycle and was spotted riding along Mace Boulevard, but has not been seen since. The Davis Police Department classified the disappearance as high-risk because of an undisclosed medical condition.
Bryant is described as a white male, 15 years old, approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall, 170 pounds, with an athletic build, blond hair, and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and white jeans.
Community Members Report Possible Sightings in Winters
Shortly after police issued the alert, multiple community members came forward on social media with possible sightings placing Bryant in the nearby town of Winters.
One person reported seeing a boy matching his description playing a piano in a gazebo in Winters and said they called it in to the authorities. Another resident said she spotted a boy fitting the description at a Winters park around 6:30 p.m. and also contacted police.
The sightings, if confirmed, would suggest Bryant traveled a significant distance from Davis on his bicycle in the hours after he left school.
Family members who commented on the Davis Police Department’s Facebook post urged the public not to be alarmed about approaching Bryant.
His father noted that Bryant is not a mental health risk and poses no danger to himself or the community, describing him as approachable and a wonderful young person.
Police and Public Mobilize to Find the Teen
Several community members also reached out asking whether any organized search efforts were being coordinated. The Davis Police Department has not publicly announced a formal search party as of Tuesday evening.
Detectives are actively working the case. Anyone who sees Bryant or has information about his whereabouts is urged to call the Davis Police Department at 530-747-5400 or dial 911. Residents along the Mace Boulevard corridor and in the Winters area are particularly encouraged to be on the lookout.
The case drew widespread attention on social media within hours of the alert going out, with many Davis residents sharing the post and asking for updates. The fact that Bryant was riding a bicycle and potentially covered several miles before any confirmed sightings suggests he may have had a specific destination in mind.
Police have not released further details about the nature of Bryant’s medical condition, but the designation of his disappearance as high-risk signals that investigators are treating the matter with urgency.
Parents in the Davis community are asked to check in with their own children about whether they may have seen or spoken with Bryant during or after school hours on Tuesday.
Anyone with a tip, no matter how small, is encouraged to reach out to Davis police immediately at 530-747-5400.
