Koehlinger named chairman of Midland Planning Commission
MIDLAND, Mich. — Andrew Koehlinger replaces Greg Mayville as the chairman of the Planning Commission, the volunteer body which advises the City Council on new developments in town.
Mr. Koehlinger is Director of Operations and Program Management at Awareness Analytics Partners, a marketing technology firm. He previously served as the project director for the Mackinac Center for Public Policy’s VoteSpotter, an iPhone app that lets users give instant feedback to legislators.
Ted Sajbel was chosen by the commission to serve as vice chairman. He is the Enterprise Data Management Director at Dow. He succeeds Mr. Koehlinger.
The commission held it’s first in-person meeting since the COVID-19 pandemic began last Tuesday night, where it welcomed its newest member, Dow engineer and Live Oak Coffeehouse owner Aaron Deckrow.
