Glenn Defeats Schulz, Re-elected to Michigan House

MIDLAND. Mich. — Annette Glenn, incumbent Michigan State Representative for Michigan’s 98th district, has been re-elected.

Ms. Glenn, a Republican, defeated Democratic challenger Sarah Schulz by an 8,419 vote margin (28448 to 20029).

“I am honored and humbled that the residents of Bay and Midland counties have put their trust in me again to represent them in Lansing,” said Ms. Glenn in a news release after her re-election, “I do not take this job lightly, and I am looking forward to helping lead Michigan into the future as we work towards making our state a better place to live and work for each of us.”

Ms. Schulz previously ran against Ms. Glenn in 2018 in the race for the same state house seat being vacated by Gary Glenn, Annette’s husband. Ms. Schulz lost in a close race 48 to 52 percent.
