Rafael Devers Traded to Giants for Hicks, Harrison & More in Shocking 4-Player Deal
Rafael Devers is heading to the West Coast. The Boston Red Sox are trading their longtime third baseman to the San Francisco Giants. In return, the Giants are sending four players. The main names in this deal are pitchers Jordan Hicks and Kyle Harrison. Along with them, Jose Bello and James Tibbs are also part of the package.
Devers has been a star for the Red Sox for nine seasons. He helped the team win the World Series in 2018. He has also been selected to the All-Star team three times. He won Silver Slugger awards in 2021 and 2023. In 2025, Devers is having a strong year. He’s hitting .271 with a .400 on-base percentage and a .494 slugging percentage. He already has 14 home runs and 57 RBIs.
