Wednesday Season 2 Trailer: Jenna Ortega Faces Dark New Mystery

Nevermore Academy is about to get even stranger. Netflix just dropped the official trailer for Wednesday season 2. Of course, they did it on a Wednesday because how could they not?

Jenna Ortega is back doing what she does best. She’s Wednesday Addams through and through. This time, the stakes feel heavier. The trailer shows Wednesday having a psychic vision that rattles her calm, deadpan world. She sees her best friend and werewolf roommate Enid dying. Worse, it’s somehow Wednesday’s fault.

Why Does Wednesday See Enid’s Death?

The whole vibe shifts fast when Wednesday says, “Secrets are the bedrock of the Addams family.” You know she’s not about to stand by. She wants answers and she wants them before Enid’s fate becomes real. If that means she has to get messy, so be it. She’s Wednesday Addams.

Back at Nevermore, Wednesday’s fame has grown. After fighting a Hyde and saving the school last season, she’s kind of a legend now. A student even asks for her autograph. Her response? “I only sign my name in blood.” Perfectly Wednesday.

What New Twists Await at Nevermore?

Season 2 promises more dark laughs and mystery. Netflix’s logline hints that Wednesday will wrestle with family drama, friendships and old enemies. Throw in a new supernatural puzzle and she’s got her hands full.

The cast lineup looks stacked. Steve Buscemi joins the madness, along with Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmán returning as Morticia and Gomez. Hunter Doohan and Billie Piper are back too. Guest stars include Thandiwe Newton, Heather Matarazzo, Fred Armisen, and yes, even Lady Gaga. If that doesn’t pull you in, nothing will.

Wednesday’s deadpan delivery and sharp tongue stay front and center. She’s not changing for anyone. That’s what makes her fun to watch. Fans don’t have long to wait. Part 1 hits Netflix on August 6. Part 2 follows September 3.

Time to see how far Wednesday will go to save Enid, dig up secrets, and maybe sign a few more things in blood.
