Mercedes Moné Confirms Relationship with AEW Star The Beast Mortos
Wrestling fans have a new power couple to talk about. Mercedes Moné, formerly known as Sasha Banks, has confirmed she’s in a relationship with fellow AEW wrestler The Beast Mortos. The internet started buzzing when Mortos posted a cozy photo of them together, along with a caption in Spanish that read, “en tus brazos encuentro paz” — which translates to “In your arms I find peace.”
That post had fans speculating fast. And now, it’s official. Mercedes told TMZ Sports they’re definitely dating, even calling it “a real beauty and the beast situation.” The two have clearly been keeping things lowkey, and while it’s unclear exactly how long they’ve been together, the news comes about a year after Mercedes filed for divorce from her ex-husband, Sarath Ton.
The 33-year-old wrestling icon shared previously that she and Sarath had been separated for a while before officially ending their marriage. She’s been open about the mutual respect they still have for each other.

Mercedes has been on a roll in AEW, currently holding the TBS Championship. She also owns the RevPro Undisputed British Women’s Championship and the EWA Women’s title. On top of her wrestling success, now she’s got love in her corner too.
