Pusha T Fires at Travis Scott in New Clipse Single ‘So Be It’
Pusha T is stirring things up again. On Tuesday, June 17, he dropped So Be It, the second single off the upcoming Clipse album Let God Sort Em Out. And it’s clear from the final verse that he’s got some strong words for Travis Scott.
The diss isn’t subtle. Fans picked up on it quick. Pusha, whose real name is Terrence Thornton, takes direct aim at Scott. Later that same day, in an interview with GQ, he confirmed it. Yes, the verse is about Travis.
Why Pusha T Is Calling Travis Out
In the GQ piece, Pusha opened up about why he called Travis out. He said it’s about loyalty. According to him, Scott has shown time and time again that he lacks it. Pusha said, “That filthy quality they have about themselves, that lack of loyalty. Travis really has that. He’s proven [that].”
He didn’t go into deep details, but it’s clear there’s history. He also made it clear he doesn’t want anything to do with Travis or his circle. “Keep your mix over there,” he added.
Comparing Net Worth and Careers
The drama adds an interesting twist, especially when you look at their career paths. Travis Scott, born Jacques Bermon Webster III, has an estimated net worth of $80 million. He’s had massive success with albums like Rodeo, Astroworld, and collaborations like JackBoys. He earns around $40 to $60 million during good touring years.
Pusha T, with an estimated $14 million net worth, came up differently. He and his brother Malice formed Clipse in the 1990s and were closely tied to Pharrell Williams. They had some early setbacks, but things took off after signing with Pharrell’s label under Arista Records. They also co-own Re-Up Records.
Clipse Album Drops Soon
The Clipse reunion is in full swing. Their fourth album Let God Sort Em Out is coming July 11, 2025. With this kind of energy already, fans are expecting more raw, unfiltered bars. And maybe, more shots fired.
