Susquehannock High School Soccer Defender Kollin Krier, 20, of Glen Rock, Killed in Single-Vehicle Crash

The York County community is grieving the loss of Kollin Krier, a 20-year-old man from Glen Rock, Pennsylvania, who died following a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on the night of June 13, 2026.

The York County Coroner’s Office officially identified Krier on June 15, confirming details of the tragedy that has left family, friends, and former teammates heartbroken.

According to the coroner’s office, Krier was found unresponsive around 10 p.m. on the 3700 block of Ridge Road in Cordorus Township.

Authorities believe he was traveling westbound on Ridge Road when the crash occurred. Despite wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, Krier sustained injuries that proved fatal.

The coroner’s office determined his cause of death to be multiple blunt force trauma, and the incident was ruled accidental.

Pennsylvania State Police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash. No other vehicles or individuals were reported to be involved in the collision.

A Young Life Full of Promise

To those who knew him, Kollin Krier was far more than a headline. A 2025 graduate of Susquehannock High School in Glen Rock, Krier was known on campus as a dedicated athlete and teammate.

He played varsity soccer for the Susquehannock Warriors, wearing number 3 as a defender. His time on the field left an impression not only through his play but through the relationships he built with the people around him.

Krier had participated on the team during his sophomore season in 2022, when the Warriors posted a record of 8 wins and 10 losses, competing in a tough conference schedule.

That year, he was part of a roster that ranked 232nd in Pennsylvania, a reflection of the competitive environment in which he developed as a player. Soccer was clearly a major part of his high school identity, and those who shared a locker room or a practice field with him carry those memories forward now with a heavier heart.

Community Left Reeling After Sudden Loss

The news of Krier’s death has rippled through Glen Rock and the surrounding York County area, touching anyone who crossed paths with the young man during his brief 20 years.

Losing someone so young, someone who still had so much of life ahead of him, sends a wave of grief through a close-knit community that tends to feel these losses deeply.

Ridge Road in Cordorus Township is a rural stretch of road, and late-night motorcycle travel on such routes carries inherent risks, particularly when road conditions, visibility, or speed become factors.

While investigators have not yet publicly disclosed the specific cause of the crash, state police continue to piece together the events of that evening.

For those in Glen Rock and beyond who are processing this loss, the coming days will likely bring an outpouring of remembrance. Former classmates, teammates, and community members are already reflecting on who Kollin Krier was, not just as an athlete or a Glen Rock native, but as a son, a friend, and a young man whose absence will be felt for a long time.

The York County coroner’s office and Pennsylvania State Police have not announced any additional findings as of publication. Further updates are expected as the investigation continues.
