Former Bridge Panthers Lacrosse Player Analise Cuington Passes Away in Dallas
Bridge Lacrosse, a youth sports organization based in Dallas, Texas, announced the passing of Analise Cuington, a former student-athlete who participated in the program from 2018 to 2020.
The organization shared the news on its official Facebook page, expressing deep sadness over the loss of someone they described as a joy to be around every single day.
A Spirited Member of the Bridge Family
Analise came to Bridge Lacrosse as a young player and quickly made an impression on coaches, staff, and fellow athletes alike.
During her two years with the program, she took part in many of the organization’s activities and left a lasting mark on those who had the privilege of knowing her.
Though several years had passed since she last suited up as a Bridge Panther, the organization made clear that time and distance never diminished her standing as a valued member of their community.
“While it’s been several years since we’ve seen her, she was no less a valued and spirited member of our family,” the organization wrote in its announcement.
The response from the broader lacrosse community was immediate. Former coaches, parents, and supporters flooded the comments section with messages of sympathy and support. Dane Strong wrote,
“My sincere condolences to her family and friends,” while Anika Maiden added, “Praying for strength and comfort.”
Kendrick Crawford extended condolences not only to her family but also to Bridge itself, acknowledging the loss felt across the entire organization.
A Life Defined by Passion and Purpose
Beyond the lacrosse field, Analise Cuington was a young woman of wide-ranging interests and deep convictions. She graduated from Uplift Infinity, a charter school in the Dallas area, and had developed a genuine love for marine biology.
Her curiosity about the natural world spoke to a mind always eager to explore and understand life beyond the boundaries of everyday routine.
Faith also played a central role in who Analise was as a person. She was actively involved in serving her church community, dedicating time and energy to something larger than herself. Those who knew her described a young woman full of spirit, purpose, and warmth.
The combination of athletic drive, academic curiosity, and community service painted a picture of someone who approached life with intention. She was not simply a lacrosse player who moved on. She was a person who carried the values instilled through sport into every area of her life.
Julia Hayes-Smith, commenting on the Bridge post, captured what many in the community felt:
“I am so sorry to hear this. My condolences to the family, friends, and Bridge.”
Bridge Lacrosse closed its announcement by directing love and condolences toward Analise’s family and loved ones. The organization has not publicly disclosed the circumstances surrounding her death.
Analise Cuington was part of a generation of young athletes who came through Bridge during a formative period in the program’s development.
Her passing is a reminder of the bonds formed through youth sports, bonds that endure long after the final whistle blows. She will be remembered not just as a player but as a person who brought light to every space she entered.
