Allegations of Harassment and Legal Battles
In March 2025, Sankar made a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter), alleging that he was being harassed by his wife and Chennai law enforcement, stating that he was “on the run” while fighting a bitter custody battle for his 9-year-old son.
According to Sankar, the ordeal began after discovering his wife’s alleged affair, which led to an acrimonious divorce process. He claimed that after failed settlement talks, his wife filed a false domestic violence complaint, further complicating the dispute.
Sankar also alleged that his wife “abducted” their son to the United States, prompting him to pursue legal action under international child abduction laws. He claimed that a US court ruled in his favor and that both parties signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), agreeing on joint custody and financial terms.
