MrBeast plane winner, Jabari “Treezy” Brown, arrested in Paraguay on drug trafficking charges

Jabari “Treezy” Brown, who won a private jet on the popular YouTube channel, was taken into custody after authorities seized 261 kilograms of high-grade marijuana from the aircraft.

Jabari Stephen Brown, widely known online as “Treezy” after winning a private executive aircraft on MrBeast’s YouTube channel, has been arrested in Paraguay on international drug trafficking charges.

Brown was taken into custody late Saturday night at a hotel in Asunción, becoming the fourth crew member of a private plane to be placed in Paraguayan custody following a drug bust at the country’s main airport.

Paraguayan anti-drug authorities, known as Senad, intercepted the aircraft at Silvio Pettirossi International Airport in Luque, a city near the capital. Agents moved in as several suitcases were being unloaded from the plane and transferred to a vehicle heading toward Asunción.

Inside the luggage, investigators found 261.6 kilograms of marijuana with unusually high tetrahydrocannabinol content, the psychoactive compound in cannabis.

Three others were arrested alongside Brown

Three other US citizens were detained from the aircraft before Brown was located at his hotel. They are identified as Marisol Rivas, Anthony Vásquez, and David Thomas Wise, all listed as crew members of the plane.

All four were transferred to the Paraguayan Public Prosecutor’s Office, where prosecutors formally charged them with international drug trafficking.

Senad also named Estonian citizen Keith Siilats, identified as a co-founder of the now-defunct US electric scooter company Bolt Mobility, as the alleged owner and pilot of the seized aircraft.

However, Siilats had reportedly departed Paraguay on Saturday morning, several hours before authorities intervened. Bolt Mobility operated shared electric scooters in multiple US cities before declaring bankruptcy in 2022.

A multi-million dollar shipment

Paraguayan authorities described the marijuana as a premium variety valued at approximately $14,000 per kilogram on the Brazilian market. That puts the estimated street value of the entire shipment at roughly $3.66 million.

Officials noted the bust fits a broader pattern of Paraguay being used as a transit hub for illegal goods destined for both Brazilian and European markets.

Paraguay and Brazil have maintained a joint protocol on cross-border air traffic monitoring since 2024 as part of regional efforts to crack down on transnational drug networks.

Brown had gained online recognition after winning an executive jet in a MrBeast competition. MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, is the most-followed individual creator on YouTube.

The plane he won has also been seized as part of the investigation. Brown and the other three defendants now face serious legal consequences under Paraguayan law, where international drug trafficking carries significant prison sentences.
