Paramount Pictures confirmed that Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning will be available to buy on digital platforms like Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, and Fandango at Home starting Tuesday, August 19.

About the Film

Released in theaters on May 23, the movie is the eighth installment in the long-running franchise that started back in 1996. Cruise returns as Ethan Hunt, the fearless field agent who must stop a rogue AI from sparking global nuclear destruction.

The film delivers closure to Hunt’s decades-long story while still raising the stakes in true Mission: Impossible fashion. “This franchise just pushes you to do things you never thought you were going to do,” McQuarrie told USA TODAY.
