Kerry Morgan Testifies in Diddy Trial, Says She Saw Him Assault Cassie Twice While Sober

TMZ is closely covering every turn in the federal sex trafficking trial against Sean “Diddy” Combs, and on Monday, a powerful testimony came from Kerry Morgan, a former close friend of Cassie Ventura. Morgan, who was subpoenaed to take the stand in New York City, testified that she personally witnessed Diddy assault Cassie on two different occasions—and made it clear he was sober both times.

Her statements delivered a heavy blow to Diddy’s defense, which has seemingly tried to frame his alleged violent behavior as influenced by substance use. But according to Kerry, what she saw wasn’t a man under the influence—it was deliberate abuse.

Alleged Assaults in Los Angeles and Jamaica

Kerry Morgan recounted to the jury that one of the assaults happened at Diddy’s home in Los Angeles. She said she saw Diddy kick Cassie. When she urged one of his security guards to step in, he refused. Morgan said she then helped Cassie escape the house, and the two of them hid near a neighbor’s home to stay safe.

Another time, in 2013 during a trip to Jamaica, Morgan said she saw Diddy drag Cassie by her hair and push her to the ground. She told the court Cassie hit her head on a brick and looked knocked out. Again, she emphasized that Diddy was completely sober during both attacks.

Kerry Says Diddy Also Assaulted Her in 2018

Morgan told the court that she and Cassie were extremely close from 2001 to 2018. But things changed after she says Diddy assaulted her too.

According to her testimony, Diddy entered Cassie’s apartment in 2018 while Cassie was in the bathroom. He allegedly choked Morgan from behind and threw a wooden hanger at her head, demanding to know who Cassie was cheating with. Morgan said she had no idea.

She planned to sue Diddy afterward but didn’t go through with it because he paid her $30,000. She also signed a non-disclosure agreement and hasn’t spoken to Cassie since.

Morgan painted a dark picture of life around Diddy, saying she watched Cassie change after their relationship began in 2007. Cassie, who didn’t drink or use drugs when they first met in 2001, started using substances like Molly, weed, and Ecstasy once she got involved with Diddy.

Morgan said Diddy would scream at Cassie, criticize her looks, and isolate her from friends. She said his behavior drained Cassie’s confidence and made her lose her spark.

She also revealed that Diddy would blow up their phones, calling up to 50 times in a row to reach Cassie, sometimes even calling Morgan directly if Cassie didn’t answer.

As Kerry Morgan entered the courtroom, Diddy reportedly glared at her. She told the jury she’s only testifying because she was subpoenaed and said, “I’ve moved on with my life and from these people and their problems.”

With the trial continuing, more witnesses and explosive moments are expected as both sides dig deeper into what really happened behind the scenes in Diddy and Cassie’s relationship.
