A new comedy skit from creator Kountry Wayne is stirring up conversation online, with viewers split over who deserves the blame in a tense confrontation between two characters, Shayla and Anthony, that unfolds in front of a young boy named Kai.
In the clip, tensions boil over between Shayla and Anthony after what appears to be a personal disagreement.
During the argument, Shayla makes a comment questioning whether Kai needs Anthony at all, saying something along the lines of him having his own father. The remark, delivered in the heat of the moment, visibly affects the child, whose reaction has since become the emotional center of the video.
Viewers React to the Confrontation
The skit was shared inside a popular Facebook fan group dedicated to Kountry Wayne’s content, where thousands of members regularly discuss and react to his latest uploads.
One member, Teresa Fisher, wrote that she felt genuine sympathy for Kai, saying the look on his face during the exchange was hard to watch. She asked the group directly who they believed was more at fault, Anthony or Shayla.
The responses came quickly and covered a range of opinions. Diane Hosette placed the blame squarely on Anthony, calling him a lowlife.
Therese Williams Moyler argued that both Anthony and another woman named Denisha were wrong for allowing the situation to unfold around the children, noting that Shayla had asked Anthony to step outside before things escalated indoors.
Debate Over Who Should Carry the Blame
Other commenters focused more on the decision to bring Kai into the situation at all. Shannah Alston said Anthony never should have brought the child there in the first place.
Willie Jean Strickland felt responsibility fell on both sides, saying Anthony should have shown respect by letting his ex know he had Kai with him, while also saying Shayla should not have made her comment in front of the boy.
Tricia Tate offered a different take, suggesting Anthony could have avoided the whole situation by leaving Kai in the car with the air conditioning on while he handled things inside. Zelda Henderson echoed concerns about communication, adding that she believed Kai would likely tell his mother what happened.
Several other commenters, including Carol Salazar and Patricia Kellam, agreed that Anthony bore most of the responsibility simply for putting Kai in the middle of an adult conflict.
The skit continues to generate reactions across social media, with many viewers agreeing on one point. No matter who started the argument, the child caught in the middle never should have had to witness it.
