Green Cove Springs Teen Carson Farias, 14, Passes Away Leaving His Loved Ones!!!

The community of Green Cove Springs, Florida is mourning the loss of a beloved young life. Carson Farias, just 14 years old, passed away recently, leaving behind a family shattered by grief and a community united in sorrow.

His mother, Megan Farias Schrampf, shared the devastating news through a heartfelt Facebook post that has since drawn an outpouring of love, condolences, and shared memories from people whose lives Carson had touched.

“It is with the heaviest heart that we share the passing of our beloved son,” Megan wrote, the words barely scratching the surface of the pain a mother carries when she loses a child.

She described Carson as deeply loved, someone who would forever remain in the hearts of everyone who knew him. Reading her words, you sense a woman trying to hold herself together long enough to let the world know that her boy mattered, that he was here, and that his absence leaves a wound no amount of time will fully heal.

Fourteen years old. That is the age of first friendships, school hallways, weekend adventures, and the particular kind of laughter only teenagers seem capable of producing. Carson was in the middle of all of that, a young person with his whole life stretched out before him, and then suddenly he was gone.

A Life That Touched Many

What strikes you most, reading through the responses to Megan’s post, is how many people felt personally connected to Carson and his family. Marshall Glenn, clearly someone who knew the boy well, wrote that Carson had touched so many lives in his short time and called him an angel on loan from God.

Jennifer Ann Fisher described the family as people who came into her life and felt immediately like her own, the kind of bond that does not form easily but runs deep when it does.

These are not the words of casual acquaintances leaving polite condolences. These are people who genuinely felt the weight of this loss, who had something real taken from them when Carson left.

A 14-year-old who leaves that kind of impression behind speaks to the kind of person he was, warm, memorable, and meaningful to those around him.

A Community Says Goodbye

Funeral services for Carson were held on Friday at 2:00 PM at Russell Funeral Home in Green Cove Springs, giving family, friends, and community members the chance to gather and celebrate his life together.

His family asked that those with questions reach out directly, and they expressed genuine gratitude for every prayer, every kind word, and every gesture of support that came their way during what they called an unimaginable loss.

The word unimaginable is doing a lot of work in this story, because no parent should ever have to write a post announcing that their child is gone. No family should have to plan a funeral for a 14-year-old boy.

And yet here they are, standing in the middle of something no one prepares for, leaning on the love of a community that clearly showed up for them.

Carson Farias was forever loved, forever missed, and forever their baby boy. May he rest in peace, and may his family find some measure of comfort in the days ahead.
