Inside Adam Sandler’s Family Life: Meet Wife Jackie and Daughters Sadie and Sunny

Adam Sandler may be one of Hollywood’s most famous comedians and actors, but when the cameras are off, he’s all about family. The 58-year-old star has been happily married to Jackie Sandler since 2003, and together they share two daughters — Sadie and Sunny — who have grown up right alongside their dad’s movie career.

Adam and Jackie’s Love Story

Adam met Jackie on the set of his 1999 hit movie Big Daddy. Their connection quickly turned into a romance, and they tied the knot in 2003. Jackie, who was a model and actress, has since made several cameos in Adam’s films, becoming part of his movie-making family.

Meet Sadie and Sunny

The couple welcomed their first daughter, Sadie, in 2006, followed by Sunny in 2008. It didn’t take long for the girls to step into their dad’s world of filmmaking. Adam has often shared how his daughters ask to be in his projects, despite him joking that it looks like he’s the one pushing them into acting.

“[My daughters] make it look like I’m forcing them to do it,” Adam said during an October 2020 appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show. “Meanwhile, they were asking me the whole damn year, ‘Can I be in your next movie, Daddy?’”

Sandler Kids on Screen

Sadie and Sunny have appeared in several of Adam’s movies over the years. In 2023, they both starred in You Are So Not Invited to My Bat Mitzvah, where their performances won praise from audiences. They also lent their voices to Adam’s animated film Leo.

Most recently, in July 2025, the sisters made a special appearance in Happy Gilmore 2, sharing screen time with their dad and even a quick cameo from their mom, Jackie.

Adam on Watching His Daughters Perform

For Adam, seeing his daughters shine on screen is a proud dad moment. Ahead of the Happy Gilmore 2 premiere, he told E! News:
“Once they do it well, nothing feels better as a parent. It must be like when you’re the parents of a baseball player and you’re at the game and they get a hit. You just go, ‘Thank God.’ It’s just so much relief.”

With both daughters already showing talent and confidence in front of the camera, it seems like the Sandler family’s Hollywood journey is only just beginning.
