Fans of Ghosts and Young Sheldon got a surprise this week when stars from both shows playfully hinted at a possible crossover — all sparked by a chance meeting and a couple of Instagram stories.

It started when Young Sheldon actor Iain Armitage ran into Ghosts star Asher Grodman.
