Gen V, the gritty college-set spinoff of The Boys, is making its much-anticipated return to Prime Video — and Season 2 is set to raise the stakes like never before. Following the explosive events of Season 1 and big shifts in The Boys universe, this new chapter dives deeper into power, rebellion, and chaos under Homelander’s rule.

The remaining five episodes will drop weekly every Wednesday, with the finale airing October 22.

How Many Episodes in Gen V Season 2?

Season 2 will consist of eight episodes total, matching the structure of Season 1.

What’s the Story in Season 2?

According to showrunner Michele Fazekas, Gen V Season 2 directly picks up after The Boys Season 4, continuing the story in a world now dominated by Homelander, who has “taken over America.”

“Now, we get to see what that looks like — what that looks like for the country, what that looks like at the school, and then what the resistance is going to start looking like,” Fazekas teased at San Diego Comic-Con 2025.

Expect rising tension between supes, faculty cover-ups, and rebellion brewing within Godolkin University.

How Will Season 2 Honor Chance Perdomo?

Showrunner Michele Fazekas confirmed that Season 2 pays tribute to Perdomo and his character in meaningful ways.

“It was, in many ways, about Andre and about Chance,” she said. “He exists throughout the entire season… I’m very proud of that.”

While the character’s future in the storyline remains under wraps, fans can expect an emotional and respectful send-off.
