Elisabeth Hasselbeck Confirms She’s Not Returning for Survivor Season 50

Elisabeth Hasselbeck recently put to rest the rumors about her returning to Survivor for its milestone 50th season. The former The View co-host and fan favorite took to her Instagram Stories to address the speculation and share what she’s really up to these days.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck Says No to Survivor Season 50

Over the weekend, Hasselbeck shared a casual video on Instagram where she joked about the idea of joining the cast for Survivor season 50. “No, I’m not doing Survivor,” she said with a laugh. “That is funny though. I’m not doing that. I’m gonna be back there with, like, snacks instead.”

She panned the camera to show a peaceful pool behind her and added, “I’ll be gardening… and working on some fun projects which I’ll tell you about, but it does not include Fiji or Survivor. I’m not doing that. I wanna be with my family and a burger in the backyard.”

What Fans Can Expect From Survivor Season 50

This 50th season is shaping up to be a special celebration of the long-running reality competition series. The cast will consist entirely of returning players from various seasons, bringing a wave of nostalgia and excitement. Fans even got to vote on gameplay elements, making this season unique by giving viewers more control.

Elisabeth’s Journey Since Survivor

Elisabeth first appeared on Survivor in its second season, The Australian Outback, back in 2001. She impressed audiences by making it all the way to fourth place. The following year, she married former professional football player Tim Hasselbeck. The couple recently celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary and share three children: Grace, Taylor, and Isaiah.

After Survivor, Elisabeth carved out a successful TV career. She co-hosted The View from 2003 to 2013, earning a Daytime Emmy in 2009. Later, she joined Fox & Friends from 2013 to 2015.

When Will We See Survivor Season 50?

The special season, hosted by Jeff Probst, is set to premiere in February 2026. Fans will get to meet the returning cast members when CBS announces the lineup on May 28 during CBS Mornings.

While Elisabeth Hasselbeck won’t be competing again, her legacy as one of Survivor’s memorable contestants remains strong. For now, she’s happily focused on family life, gardening, and new projects away from the island.
