Cincinnati Woman, Ally Nicole Hill, Working at Norwood Skyline Chili, Fatally Stabbed, Coworkers Mourn Devastating Loss
A woman was stabbed and killed at a Skyline Chili restaurant in Norwood, Ohio, on Monday, June 2, 2026, sending shockwaves through the local community and leaving behind two young children.
The Norwood Police Department confirmed the fatal incident in a media release issued the same day at 11:59 a.m.
According to the release, officers were dispatched to 4588 Montgomery Road, the location of a Skyline Chili, following reports of a stabbing. Upon arrival, they found one victim who was transported to a nearby hospital, where she was later pronounced dead. A suspect was taken into custody near the scene shortly after.
Investigators stated they believe the incident was isolated and that no active threat to the public exists. The investigation remains ongoing, and police noted that additional information may be released as it becomes available.
The victim has been identified by friends and family on social media as Ally Nicole Hill, a Cincinnati native who had been working at the Norwood Skyline Chili location since September 2024. She was a mother to two young children, Jayda and Colson.
Friends who knew Ally described her as someone full of warmth, generosity, and light. One coworker, who witnessed the attack firsthand, wrote on Facebook that she was devastated beyond words.
She described Ally as someone who would never hurt anyone and said she had one of the kindest hearts she had ever encountered. She recalled how Ally had a way of making every day easier and more joyful just by being present, and said losing her in such a violent and sudden way was something she could barely process.
She added that watching a friend be killed and being unable to stop it was an unbearable experience she would carry with her forever.
Others who knew Ally echoed similar sentiments. A woman named Emily Sears wrote that Ally had a gift for making people smile and that the world was genuinely better with her in it. She offered prayers for Ally’s two children and her father, and expressed hope that Ally would find peace.
Her Facebook profile reflected someone deeply rooted in her faith and community. Her bio featured the verse 1 Corinthians 16:14, which reads, “Let everything you do be done in love.” Before working at Skyline Chili, Ally had held positions at AC Hotels by Marriott and Chipotle Mexican Grill.
In the wake of the tragedy, a friend named Tessa Jordan set up a GoFundMe with permission from Ally’s sister, Kayla, to help cover funeral expenses and support her children during this incredibly difficult time. Jordan clarified that she is only serving as the organizer and that all funds will go directly to Ally’s family.
The Norwood Police Department has not yet publicly identified the suspect or released details regarding a possible motive. Chief Matthew Klingelhoffer’s department continues to investigate. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Norwood Police at 513-458-4520.
Ally Nicole Hill is remembered by those who loved her not just as a coworker or neighbor, but as a sister, a mother, and a bright presence taken far too soon.
