Cardi B Shuts Down Pregnancy Rumors but Teases Fans With Cryptic Post
Cardi B is once again making headlines — this time not just for her music or court case, but for swirling pregnancy rumors.
The Grammy-winning rapper, who already holds multiple Billboard records including the most No. 1 singles for a female rapper, sparked buzz online after fans thought she was hiding a baby bump. But in true Cardi style, she’s had a lot to say about it.
Why Fans Thought She Was Pregnant
Speculation first started when Cardi shared a video of herself rapping to her new single Imaginary Playerz in a fitted black bodysuit.
The chatter only grew louder when she later appeared in court wearing an oversized outfit, with fans pointing out she was covering her midsection with her hand.
It didn’t take long before her followers started firing questions during her Instagram Live.
Cardi B’s Blunt Response
When a fan suggested she looked “30 weeks pregnant” because she was out of breath, Cardi snapped back.
“‘Look, 30 weeks pregnant?’ No, you stupid bch. I’m just out of breath ’cause I have asthma… Stop fking being funny before you get blocked,” she said during the livestream.
Her fiery response seemed to settle the matter — at least for a few hours.
The Cryptic Twist
Shortly after the live ended, Cardi stirred the pot again.
On X (formerly Twitter), she posted a GIF of Tokyo Toni raising her eyebrows, writing, “But AM I?”
The post left fans divided — was she joking, trolling, or hinting at something more?
The Courtroom Drama
The pregnancy chatter comes at a time when Cardi is also dealing with a long-running lawsuit.
In 2020, security guard Emani Ellis accused her of assault, claiming Cardi cut her face with long nails, spat on her, and left her emotionally scarred.
Cardi’s lawyer, Peter J. Anderson, argued Ellis was the aggressor and that the rapper never touched her. He added that Cardi, who was pregnant with her first child at the time, feared for her safety when Ellis allegedly charged at her.
Family Life With Offset
Cardi B shares three children with her estranged husband, rapper Offset.
Their daughter, Kulture Kiari Cephus, was born in 2018, followed by their son, Wave Set Cephus, in 2021. In 2024, the pair welcomed another daughter, Blossom, just months after Cardi filed for divorce.
Despite her personal ups and downs, Cardi continues to dominate music and headlines — proving she’s never far from the spotlight.
