Bobby Sherman Family: Meet His Wife Brigitte, Sons, and Grandchildren

Bobby Sherman, the heartthrob of the 60s and 70s, has died at the age of 81 after a battle with stage 4 cancer. He passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning at his Encino home in Los Angeles. The news, first reported by TMZ, has shaken fans who still remember his golden voice and charming screen presence.

Sherman wasn’t just a pop idol. He was a singer, actor, and later in life, a real-life hero who left a lasting mark far beyond Hollywood.

His Wife’s Touching Words

Brigitte Poublon Sherman, Bobby’s wife of 29 years, shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram alongside actor John Stamos. She wrote from the heart.

“It is with the heaviest heart that I share the passing of my beloved husband, Bobby Sherman,” she posted. “Bobby left this world holding my hand – just as he held up our life with love, courage, and unwavering grace. I was his Cinderella, and he was my prince charming.”

Her tribute captured the quiet strength Bobby carried even in his final days. He faced his illness without fear. He stayed strong, not for himself, but for the people he loved.

Family Meant Everything to Him

Bobby Sherman is survived by his wife Brigitte, whom he married in 2011 after years of friendship and shared purpose. From his first marriage with Patricia Anne Carnel, Bobby had two sons, Christopher Noel Sherman and Tyler Carnel Sherman. That marriage lasted from 1971 to 1977. He also leaves behind six grandchildren.

Even with a busy career and later public service, Bobby always stayed close to his children and grandchildren. Family always came first, no matter how bright the spotlight got.

Brigitte Poublon’s Ongoing Legacy

Brigitte is not just Bobby’s widow. She is also the co-founder and president of the Brigitte & Bobby Sherman Children’s Foundation (BBSCF). Since 2011, she has led initiatives to help children in Ada, Ghana.

Their foundation focuses on education, nutrition, and music programs for underprivileged youth. Brigitte and Bobby believed in giving back. Their efforts have brought change to many lives, especially in Africa.

The couple worked side-by-side for more than a decade, pouring their energy into the foundation’s mission. While Bobby stayed mostly out of the public eye in his later years, he continued to support Brigitte’s work behind the scenes.

The Legacy Lives On

Bobby Sherman wasn’t just a teen idol. He was a devoted father, a loving husband, and a man who used his fame for good. From topping music charts to saving lives as a paramedic and deputy sheriff later in life, Bobby lived many chapters.

And through all of it, he never lost his warmth. He never lost his smile.

As tributes pour in from friends, fans, and fellow celebrities, one thing is clear. Bobby Sherman was more than a star. He was the kind of person who lit up the lives around him.

And that light, even now, still shines.
