Ms. Miyahara shared that Haru Urara had been in good health until September 8, when she suddenly fell ill. Despite immediate veterinary attention, her condition worsened and she passed away in the early hours of September 9.
“Haru Urara was 29 years old, which is nearly 90 in human terms, but she was in great health until yesterday,” Ms. Miyahara said. “Recently, more people from overseas were coming to visit her, so it’s very unfortunate.”
