Sophie Turner Fires Back at Critic Who Claimed She ‘Forgot’ About Her Kids

Sophie Turner isn’t staying silent when it comes to defending her parenting.

The Game of Thrones star—who shares daughters Willa, 4, and Delphine, 2, with ex-husband Joe Jonas—recently posted photos from an Oasis concert on Instagram. But one commenter decided to question her priorities.

“I think she has forgotten that she has two kids,” the user wrote under her August 4 post.

Turner, 29, wasted no time in clapping back. “Ah I’m so sorry sometimes I forget some people can’t think for themselves,” she replied. “So… get this… there’s this crazy thing called shared custody. Maybe, just maybe, they were with their dad that day.”

Turner and Jonas were involved in a tense custody dispute before reaching an agreement in October 2023. Since then, the former couple has worked towards an amicable co-parenting relationship.

While things are now on better terms, Turner has admitted the divorce was tough on their children. Speaking to British Vogue in May 2024, she said, “I’m unhappy with the way everything played out, especially when it comes to my children. They’re the victims in all of this. But I think we’re doing the best we can. Joe is a great father to our children and that’s all that I can ask for.”
