Monica Barbaro and Andrew Garfield just made Wimbledon a little sweeter. The two showed up together at the All England Tennis and Croquet Club and didn’t try to hide a thing. Matching white Ralph Lauren looks. Holding hands. Smiles all around. It was one of those moments where you know they’re more than just co-stars.
How Long Have They Been Together?
People first saw them out back in February. They were at a play in London, just hanging out. A few days later, someone close to them told PEOPLE they were, in fact, dating. Since then, they’ve popped up here and there. Parties in Hollywood. Grocery runs. Little glimpses that say a lot even if they don’t say anything themselves.
Neither of them talks much about it. Monica’s busy with her projects. Andrew’s always been the king of keeping things private. He’s said more than once he’s not spilling any personal tea. He wants his life off the screen to stay that way. And honestly, he sticks to it.
Are They Working On A Movie Together?
This Wimbledon date comes at an interesting time too. Rumor is they might be teaming up for a film called Artificial. It’s supposed to be directed by Luca Guadagnino, the same guy behind Challengers. Deadline says talks are happening. Monica didn’t say much at the FUBAR premiere. She just said she’s excited to work with Luca. When asked about Andrew, she just laughed. Kept it cute.
Andrew, true to form, probably won’t say a word until we see them on screen. That’s just how he is. He told Esquire he’ll always protect his right to live like a normal guy. To mess up. To be private. To not hand his life over to headlines.
