2025 American Music Awards: Full Lineup of Performers & Presenters Revealed

The 2025 American Music Awards (AMAs) are back and bigger than ever. This year’s event is packed with star-studded performances, legendary appearances, and fresh faces ready to shine. The show takes place on Memorial Day, May 26, at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas and will be broadcast live on CBS at 8 p.m. ET. Fans can also stream it on Paramount+.

This marks the first AMAs to air on CBS, ending a long run with ABC that lasted from 1974 to 2022. It is also the first time the show isn’t held in Los Angeles. The change in location and network is setting the stage for a fresh chapter in AMAs history.

Jennifer Lopez Returns as Host

Jennifer Lopez will host the ceremony for the second time. She first hosted the show in 2015 and wowed audiences with a stunning dance medley. Now, she’s back to guide the audience through a night of celebration and music.

Rod Stewart and Janet Jackson Honored

Two iconic music legends will receive special awards this year. Sir Rod Stewart, now 80, is being honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. It’s his first time back on the AMAs stage since 2004. Janet Jackson will be presented with the Icon Award for her global impact on music. The 11-time AMA winner will also perform live on television for the first time since 2018.

Major Performers Confirmed

The AMAs have confirmed a mix of legendary artists and rising stars. Here’s the full list of performers:

  • Alex Warren will make his debut after gaining attention from his reality show appearance.
  • Benson Boone, just 22, will perform his hit single “Mystical Magical” from his upcoming album American Heart.

These nominations are based on streaming, sales, radio play, and tour data from Billboard and Luminate, covering March 2024 through March 2025.

Voting for most categories is closed. However, fans can still vote for Collaboration of the Year and Social Song of the Year through the first 30 minutes of the live broadcast on VoteAMAs.com.

A Special Tribute to Veterans

The AMAs will also include special moments to honor U.S. veterans. In partnership with the Easy Day Foundation, the show will spotlight military heroes and raise funds for support programs across the country.
